Dear Readers,
I hope each of you is physically well and taking good care of yourself during these challenging times.
I just wanted to take a moment and say “Thank you, thank you – thank you” for making time to read The Route 3 Blog. Your support, encouragement, and feedback touch my heart and lift my spirit.
It’s hard for me to imagine life without writing. I’ve been doing it for so long, it feels as natural to me as the kinky hairs on my head. I write almost compulsively, to better understand myself and this crazy, overwhelming world. I do it because I have to, to stay functionally sane and alive. You who read my words, however, do so because you want to. Your reading of my work – in the midst of all the funky, time-gobbling madness that is life – is the greatest gift that I, as a writer, could ever receive. I treasure that gift, and I will never take it for granted.
In the coming weeks and months, I will be doing more posts on books and library work, as well as linking to thought-provoking essays and articles by social commentators who are really putting it down. I will share ideas that I hope will empower and inspire you. I will keep you up to date on what I’m learning and the chances I’m taking. And, as always, I will throw in a few things that you might not be expecting.
Stick with me, and I will keep doing my best to make this blog worth your while.
Wishing you all the best,
Stacy Torian
